Glazed Pigs in a Blanket

Detailed Directions and Instructions

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Pigs in a Blanket

Unroll a package of crescent roll dough on a clean surface. Separate the dough into triangles.

Wrap the Hot Dogs

Place a hot dog on the wide end of each triangle and roll the dough around it. Make sure to seal the edges to keep the filling inside.

Arrange on a Baking Sheet

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the wrapped hot dogs on the baking sheet, leaving some space between each.

Brush with Egg Wash

In a small bowl, beat an egg and brush it over the tops of the wrapped hot dogs to create a golden finish.

Bake in the Oven

Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the dough is golden brown.

Prepare the Glaze

While the pigs in a blanket are baking, combine brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and a splash of Worcestershire sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar has dissolved.

Glaze the Pigs in a Blanket

Once the pigs in a blanket are golden brown, remove them from the oven and immediately brush the glaze over the top of each piece.

Return to Oven

Return the glazed pigs in a blanket to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes to set the glaze.

Serve Warm

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving warm. Enjoy!
