Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (29-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 9 cooked lasagna noodles, drained
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions:
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the meat is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, tomato paste, diced tomatoes, sugar, salt, and basil. Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
